Leading Online Hotel Reservation Website Booking.com Opens in Georgia
The market leading online hotel reservation service in the world, Booking.com, is gearing up to open its first regional office in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital city.
The website has already found a location within the Besiki Business Centre and will start operating from September this year.
International commercial real estate services company Colliers International Georgia has provided brokerage services to the Booking.com website. Managing Director of the company, Irakli Kilauridze, confirmed that the agreement has been signed.
“Colliers International’s Tbilisi and Amsterdam offices have advised Booking.com on their Tbilisi office opening. Under the tenant representation mandate we came up with strategy for the Client, short listed suitable properties, and conducted lease negotiations. We welcome Booking.com to Georgia!” Colliers International Georgia announced on its Facebook page.
At the beginning of May, Booking.com announced two vacancies, for the positions of Coordinator and Account Manager.
The company's administration explains its decision to open for business in Georgia by highlighting the growing hotel business in Georgia.
Booking.com was founded in 1996 and offers the secure and easy booking of more than 600,000 property deals worldwide.
The website is available in more than 40 languages and provides customers with online booking services in more than 210 countries.
