Georgian Passengers to Fly to Barcelona, Rome, Paris Direct with Wizz Air

Wizzair plans to add further destionations from Kutaisi international airport, including Rome, Paris, Barcelona and Prague. The decision was announced by George Michalopulos, Wizzair’s CFO, while at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili today. 

Wizzair is one of the leading low cost air companies in Central and Eastern Europe, and is currently operating flights to 11 European countries from Kutaisi international airport in western Georgia. 

Flights to Rome, Paris, Barcelona and Prague will start from May 2018. Furthermore, Wizzair is also set to double the number of already existing flights operated by the company from Kutaisi airport, for which, another A320 type aircraft is to be based in Kutaisi.
