The International Business Forum Gets Underway

The International Business Forum unofficialy kicked off last night at an exclusive dinner held at Tbilisi's Culinarium cooking school, where speakers and organizers gathered to get to know each other on a more personal level and bond over delicious samplings of Georgian gastronomy and wine.

Indeed, the dinner was a success at fostering a key element of any business strategy — team-building. "I would like to thank both IBF team members and speakers," IBF CEO, Guga Kobakhidze, began in one of the many toasts of the evening, "for their being here today as part of one big family. In business, as in life, a stellar team is a key component of success. I would like to thank you all for your hard work and dedication towards the success of IBF. I know that together we shall make this event a fantastic one, inspiring and elevating the Georgian business community, making the impossible possible."

The two-day event officialy begins today at the Hotels and Preference Hauling Tbilisi with a series of motivational and educational talks, and discussion panels seeking to inspire, motivate, and equip participants with the necessary tools and skills, to become the best version of themselves, and help make Georgia a key player in the international business community.

To that end, over the next 48 hours, representatives of some of the biggest brands in the world — including  Ania Jakubowski, former General Director of Coca Cola; Pierandrea Quarta, Procter & Gamble Global Brand Manager; Haseeb T Hasan, coach for companies like Apple, BMW, Siemens, Barclays; and Gil Petersil, a networking guru, among others — along with members of the Georgian business community, will take the floor as speakers, to share their key ideas and strategies with participants.

It promises to be one of the biggest sales forums organized in Tbilisi.
