British Dance Company 'Candoco' to Return To Tbilisi

British Dance Company 'Candoco' are set to return to Tbilisi to offer interactive dance workshops. The 3-day workshop from Candoco is entitled 'Dance Lab'. Georgian dancers interested in inclusive dance can attend this event, which will be held from 31 October to 2 November 2017. 

The project is held partnership with both the British Council Tbilisi and Kote Marjanishvili State Drama Theater.

A second dance workshop is planned for spring 2018.

The 'Dance Labs' are part of British Council programme ‘Culture&Development: Unlimited’ with Marjanishvili Theatre as partner of the programme. The aim is to develop inclusive arts by sharing good practice from the UK in supporting the creation of accessible activities for people with disabilities. The Lab is a unique opportunity for disabled and able-bodied dancers to interact, take risks, test new ideas and share practice.
