Tbilisi Airport Evacuated Due to Bomb Scare

A full evacuation was conducted last night from Tbilisi Airport after a bomb was reported, which later turned out to be false.

Georgia’s Interior Ministry stated that the airport was evacuated on the basis of one citizen’s tip-off via a mobile phone, but they did not disclose the details of this message.

Three flights were delayed as a result.

Traffic has now been cleared on the roads approaching the airport. Law enforcers have completed their work, declaring the building safe for operation.
