Wounded Counter Terrorism Officer Dies in Hospital Following Injures

According to TV reports, the member of the Counter Terrorism Unit, who was wounded earlier today in the situation in Tbilisi’s Isani district, has died in hospital following series injuries. This came after gun fire and grenades were used in the still on-going situation involving the Counter Terrorism Unit of the Georgian Staate Security Service. He was 41 years old. No further information is known at this time.
