Tbilisi Budget to Increase in 2018

Tbilisi's Budget will be increased by 60 million GEL in 2018, Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor announced after a meeting with Minister of Finance Mamuka Bakhtadze today. As Georgian media sources report, additional financing via transfer from the central budget will be used for the Tbilisi Metro, and the restoration of the historic part of the city. 

“2018 will be a significant year for our city, as we will start to realize projects that we have promised prior to the elections” Kakha Kaladze noted. According to the media source, technical details were discussed and agreed on during the meeting of the Tbilisi Mayor and Minister of Finance of Georgia. 

Tbilisi city budget will amount to 875 million GEL overall, Georgian Public Broadcaster states
