Weather in Georgia set to Worsen from December 6

If you haven’t already, it’s time to invest in some winter clothing! From tomorrow, weather is expected to worsen throughout Georgia. The National Environment Agency reported that we will see the temperature drop across the country from 6-8 December, as cold and humid air spreads from the North-West.

Mountainous regions will be most affected, likely experiencing heavy snowfall that may cause problems with transportation. Rain and snow is also expected elsewhere in the country as well as a severe Western wind, according to reports. The Black Sea coast will experience a storm of a magnitude of around 4-5.

With these changes in weather, Tbilisi’s overnight temperatures are set to drop below freezing level, where daytime temperatures will remain around 7-10 degrees.
