Wizz Air Announces New Destination to Riga, Latvia from Kutaisi Airport

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced the launch of new destination Riga, Latvia, from Kutaisi International Airport, starting from March 25, 2018, with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays; the company announced that tickets are on sale on wizzair.com with fares starting from as low as GEL 52.99 / EUR 19.99 

“After recently announcing a second aircraft to be allocated in 2018 at WIZZ base in Kutaisi, today we further continue our network expansion in Georgia. From March 25, WIZZ customers can fly on low fares from Kutaisi to Riga, the colorful and sparkling capital of Latvia” Sorina Ratz, Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said. 

According to Sorina Ratz, the new route, with a convenient all-year-round schedule on Wednesdays and Sundays, will strengthen business relations between the two countries and stimulate regional economy, local tourism and hospitality sectors.
