Tbilisi Mayor Introduces New Project at Tbilisi First Demographic Forum

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze attended the first demographic forum held at Tbilisi Assembly Hall (Sakrebulo); and spoke about the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle and involving more youth in health and fitness. Students from various Georgian universities attended the event. 

As Kaladze noted, Tbilisi municipality plans to implement many interesting projects in the coming years, “We plan to open multi-functional complexes with football and basketball courts in the city, we’re also planning to build youth centers,”. 

The Mayor also introduced his new project, which is currently being worked on. “We’ve already started working on the project; today everyone has access to the internet, thus I will be initiating a service called ‘Your Idea’s for the City Mayor’. I know that many people want to be involved and participate in the city development process, there are so many visions and projects, and each one of you will have a chance to register on this platform and share your ideas with us. We will try to help you realize those ideas,” he said. The initiative, according to the Mayor, is set to engage as many citizens to city developments as possible.
