Increased Gas Supplies to Turkey, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia

In 2017, "Gazprom" laid more than 700 kilometers of the "Turkish Stream" gas pipeline. According to the chairman of the board of the corporation Alexey Miller, the paved area is 38% of the total length.

According to him, in 2017, the target flow markets continued to demonstrate a trend in demand growth.

Miller added that a record of supplies to Turkey was also set: 29 billion cubic meters of gas. Fuel exports also increased to Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia.

Previously, Gazprom had already reported on the increase in gas supplies to the future recipients of the Turkish Stream.

The construction of the Turkish Stream is aimed at reducing the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine.
