Fiscal Committee Chair: State Budget Revenues Exceeded Projections

According to MP Irakli Kovzanadze, Fiscal Committee Chair of the Parliament of Georgia, State Budget Revenues were projected to be 11.487 billion GEL in 2017. Actual revenues have been exceeded by 131.500 million GEL, i.e. with a surplus of 101.1% totaling to 11.619 billion GEL.

As noted by Mr. Kovzanadze at the meeting of the Parliamentary Bureau, tax revenues have exceeded the projections by 11.300 million GEL.

According to his statement, State Budget Earmarkings have been fully executed  and total expenditures have amounted 11.753 billion GEL.

"On the grounds of the information submitted to the Parliament of Georgia, I wish to confirm that State Budget of 2017 has been executed with a surplus" notes MP Irakli Kovznadze, Fiscal Committee Chair.
