Number of Injured at Varketili Metro Increased to 11

The number of injured during the incident has reportedly grown to 11 people, as a fragment of ceiling fell down at Varketili metro station in Tbilisi this morning. As the information from various media sources says, the injured are being take away from the area, one of them being a patrol police officer, and are being transferred to the Ingorokva Medical Clinic. 

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, who recently arrived at the scene, commented to the media saying that all the injured are being taken to different hospitals in Tbilisi, and the criminalists are awaited to arrive to Varketili Metro station for the examination, as an investigation will be launched. As Kaladze said, those found guilty will be punished.
