Tatunashvili: Parliamentary Majority Fail to Agree on Joint Resolution On His Death

A meeting between parliamentary majority and minorities to develop a joint resolution on the death of Archil Tatunashvili ended in failure. They will reconvene again on March 14th. At this stage, no agreement could be reached on the text of the resolution.

"There is no agreement at this stage, as we have fundamental differences on a number of important issues. First of all, this concerns the Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili list. We agreed that we will meet again next week," Parliamentary Minority Leader Davit Bakradze said after the meeting.

Bakradze believes that there is still a small chance for an agreement to be reached.

“By the next parliamentary session, we will have made a final decision”, he said.
