Fitch Advances Georgia's Rating

Fitch Ratings Inc., one of the "Big Three credit rating agencies", has advanced Georgia's outlook.

The information was released by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, who stated that Fitch Ratings has changed Georgia's position from stable to positive.

“Not only do we say so, but credit agencies also confirm it,” the PM said.

Kvirikashvili also added that recently, Moody’s has improved Georgia's credit rating from Ba 3 to Ba 2.
