Protests Break Out in Siberian City of Kemerovo
Protests have broken out in the Siberian city of Kemerovo amid the devastation caused at the leisure centre and shopping mall in the city.
So far, the fire has claimed the lives of at least 64 people, 41 of which are believed to be children.
There is deep-rooted concern that the government have glorified the death toll, as social media has suggested the number of people perished in the mall far exceed official figures.
Furthermore, investigators at the scene have suggested that the fire alarm was switched off during the ordeal, as well as exits being blocked.
Around 300 people have gathered outside Kemerovo government today, requesting the truth and the resignation of the people who may have distorted the truth.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
