Georgia’s Adjara Presents Tourist Products at Minsk Exhibition

Tourism Department of Adjara, the Black Sea coastal region of Georgia, participated in Minsk International Tourism Exhibition - LEISURE 2018.

The Department of Tourism of Adjara presented its products at the exhibition in a special corner, where visitors could receive full information about the region over four days.

Within the frames of the exhibition, the representatives of the department held meetings with the representatives of tourism and advertising companies of Belarus.

It was noted that Georgia is a tourist destination for Belarus, with the number of Belarusian travelers increasing by the year.

Chairman of Tourism Department of Adjara, Sulkhan Glonti, stated that it is important to promote Adjara tourist products in Belarus and to increase advertising. He noted that the number of Belarusian travelers is increasing every year in Georgia, and last year 47,988 Belarusians visited Georgia, which is 29% more than in 2016.

“We have been actively cooperating with media outlets and tourist companies of Belarus for several years for the promotion of Adjara's tourism potential,” he stated.

Together with the Adjara Tourism Department, the Georgian National Tourism Administration and tourism agencies also participated in Minsk exhibition.
