Disagreement Leads Man to Murder His Own Brother

A tragic incident occurred last night in the Kaspi municipality of Shida Kartli when a family drama ended in the murder of a man by his own brother.

The exact happenings of the incident are unclear, but police have opened an official investigation into the matter. Additionally, it is unclear which weapon the man used to kill his brother. Neighbors report violent discussions before the murder, indicating a family issue as the potential motive.

At present, it remains to be seen if the murder was wilfully conducted or if it was negligent homicide.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the police started an investigation under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving premeditated murder which envisions a 7-15 year term of imprisonment.
