French Embassy to Run Eurovision "Contest" for Georgian Youth

As part of the final of Eurovision 2018 to be held in Lisbon on May 12 2018, the French Embassy in Georgia and the French Institute of Georgia, in
partnership with the travel agency Promethea and the Shota Rustaveli University of Theater and Cinema is to organize a singing contest for Georgian French-speaking students from the age of twelve.

Participants will be required to sing the song "Mercy" of the French music group Madame Monsieur, which will be representing France for Eurovision 2018.

The contest wil take place on Tuesday, April 24 at 19:00 at the Shota Rustaveli Theater and Cinema University, 19 Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi and its main sponsor is Silknet.

The winning student will be awarded a French course at the French Institute of Georgia.
