Linkevičius Sends Condolences to the People of Georgia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Linas Linkevičius, has offered his condolences to the Georgian nation and the families of those affected by the gas explosion in the Didi Dighomi district in Tbilisi on January 16.

“Our profound sympathies go out to the people of Georgia following the deadly gas explosion in Tbilisi. Deepest condolences to the loved ones of the victims, full and speedy recovery to all the injured,” reads the message of the Lithuanian Diplomat.

The explosion caused the death of 4 and injury of 8 people, minors being among them. Investigations into the case have been commenced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
