Justice Minister Agrees to Stay

Justice Minister of Georgia, Thea Tsulukiani, announced today that she is to remain as Minister.

On Monday, the minister suggested she may resign due to a difference of positions “regarding one important issue.”

However, later on Tuesday, Tsulukiani said the discussions on that issue within the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party were over and she would remain in her post.

The minister did not specify what the controversial issue was.

“Positions have been agreed, and the discussions on the topic are over. Accordingly, we continue to work as a united team in a united position,” she added.
