PM Expresses Sorrow over Texas Tragedy

Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze has expressed sorrow over the tragedy that occurred in Texas.

“Saddened by the devastating shooting in El Paso. My thoughts are with all the people involved and the bereaved families and friends of the victims. In this time of grief, #Georgia stands in solidarity with the American people”, Bakhtadze has tweeted.

On August 4, a gunman killed 20 people and injured 26 others after he opened fire at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas.

The suspected gunman has not been publicly named. The suspected gunman could face the death penalty.
