PM: Vulnerable Groups Can Buy Some Medicines for 1 GEL

Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze will introduce today a new program, within the framework of which pensioners, socially vulnerable people and persons with disabilities will be able to purchase 35 types of medicines for GEL 1 to treat chronic diseases.

The presentation will be held at the Tbilisi City Council and will be attended by Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Archil Talakvadze, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, and representatives of the executive and legislative branches of the government and the healthcare field.
