Georgia: Age of Patients Infected with COVID-19 Ranges from 2 to 82 Years
The age of patients with coronavirus in Georgia ranges from 2 to 82 years, Paata Imnadze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, said at a briefing today.
"The average age is 37, the maximum is 82 and the minimum age is 2," he noted.
Today, a 9-day-old infant from Marneuli Municipality was hospitalized with suspicious symptoms. The infant, whose condition is stable at this stage, is being tested for the new coronavirus.
The total number of persons infected with coronavirus has increased to 73 in Georgia.
4055 people are in quarantine and 252 are under examination in hospitals. 10 out of 73 people have recovered from COVID-19.
