Security Guard at Georgian Patriarchate Infected with Coronavirus

A security guard at the Georgian Patriarchate is infected with coronavirus, the head of the press service of the Patriarchate, Archpriest Andria Jagmaidze has confirmed. 

The infected is a young man living in the village of Khovle, Kaspi Municipality.

Tamaz Khutsishvili, the governor of the village of Khovle, says the man was hospitalized on April 12 with suspicious symptoms.

The total number of coronavirus cases stands at 296 in Georgia. 

69 out of 296 people have recovered from the illness, while 3 patients have died.
