5th Patient Dies of Coronavirus in Georgia
The coronavirus death toll has risen to 5 in Georgia.
The infected person, a 68-year-old man from the Bolnisi cluster, was being treated in the First University Clinic in Tbilisi and his condition was extremely serious. The deceased had other chronic illnesses along with coronavirus, including heart disease.
The data has been updated on the government-run special website stopcov.ge.
In the past 24 hours, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Georgia has increased by 3, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 411.
5160 people are in quarantine and 579 people are under supervision at hospitals.
98 patients have recovered from the illness and five people have died.
3 Georgian citizens have been transferred for medical treatment from abroad.
