Marina Ezugbaia: Citizens Must Keep the Skills Developed in this Difficult Period
"During the large-scale aggressive testing conducted in the target groups, 25 confirmed cases is a good result. It is very positive and it means that the country is victorious at this stage," Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, said on Monday.
She added that in order to maintain the existing data, it is necessary for the population to show high responsibility along with the lifting of restrictions.
"Along with the lifting of restrictions, the high responsibility of citizens will be a precondition for the population to maintain all the skills they have acquired during this most difficult period. If the population keeps these skills even when the situation gets better, it will be a precondition not to worsen the statistical data and to maintain and continue the enviable victory," Ezugbaia said.
In recent days, a relatively high number of new coronavirus infection cases have been reported in Georgia. Health officials claimed that it was a result of aggressive testing and a thorough study conducted throughout the country.
