Shopping Malls, Open-Air Restaurants to Reopen from June 1

All types of open-air shops, including shopping malls, will be able to reopen on June 1, Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia announced at the sitting of the Interagency Coordination Council today.

He said that from June 1, all outdoor and indoor markets and open-air restaurants will also be able to resume their works.

The PM noted that restaurants will fully resume all services from June 8.

From June 8, those hotels that are inspected by the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Health and have a specific permit will open.

In addition, the operation of intercity transport throughout Georgia will resume on June 8.
