Coronavirus Claims Life of 23rd Patient in Georgia

Coronavirus has claimed a 23rd life in Georgia. 

Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, hasn't discussed additional details; however, he noted that the patient's condition was serious.

"Unfortunately, we have a 23rd deceased patient, who was transferred from an uncontrolled territory of Georgia and died in a clinic in Tbilisi. The patient's condition was serious," he noted. 

This is the 3rd coronavirus-related death reported in the country in the last 24 hours. 

As of September 22, 218 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, and the number of infected people has reached 3913.
