25th Patient Dies of Coronavirus in Georgia
Another patient has died of coronavirus in Georgia, bringing the death toll to 25.
The relevant information was posted on a government-run special website stopcov.ge.
The patient died in Batumi hospital. The Ministry of Health of Adjara states that the 25th patient who died of coronavirus was a 76-year-old man and he had concomitant diseases.
The patient had severe respiratory failure and fever and his condition was critical.
This is the second coronavirus-related death reported in the country in the last 24 hours.
As of September 23, 227 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia and the number of infected people reached 4140.
Of 227 new cases, 165 were detected in Adjara and 34 in Tbilisi.
