Studies in 1st Semester to be Held Remotely in Schools of Adjara, Tbilisi & 9 Other Cities

Given the epidemic situation in the country and in order to reduce mobility in big cities, the Interagency Coordination Council decided that studies in the first semester will be conducted remotely in the Adjara region and the following cities of Georgia: Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Telavi, Zestaponi, Gori, Gardabani, Poti and Marneuli.

The above decision applies to both public and private schools. 

Regarding the general educational institutions operating on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, they have so far continued the learning process remotely, and this format will be maintained until the end of the year.

Georgia has recorded 3128 new cases of coronavirus, 3045 recoveries and 39 fatalities in the last 24 hours.

At present, active cases of COVID-19 have reached 18,526.
