"After the mentioned fact, on November 29, 2020, the Department of Labor Conditions Inspection conducted a secondary inspection of "Online Magic" Ltd, the so-called "Reformer Fitness", which revealed that despite the administrative penalty, the company continued economic activities prohibited by the Resolution of the Government of Georgia.

Despite the administrative penalty, the fitness center "Reformer Fitness" in Batumi continued to work.

The statement released by the fitness center read that the act of their disobedience was aimed at giving a representative of any branch of the economy the right to free economic activity.

Giorgi Putkaradze, the owner of 'Reformer Fitness', said the law enforcers issued a fine of 10,000 GEL for disobedience to the decision of the government and were trying to close the gym.

He added that they are not going to pay a fine.

For the record, on November 28, the Georgian government has decided to tighten and expand restrictions throughout the country. Based on the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, until January 31, certain economic activities are prohibited, including the operation of municipal and intercity transport, gyms and swimming pools, restaurants, etc.
