US, Estonia Offer Condolences to Georgia over Gas Explosion
The United States Embassy to Georgia expressed its condolences for the deadly explosion in Tbilisi’s Dighomi District, which left 4 dead and 8 injured on the evening of January 16.
“The US Embassy wishes to express its heartfelt condolences to the people of Georgia in light of the January 16 tragedy in Didi Dighomi. Our thoughts and prayers are with our Georgian friends,” the Embassy stated.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia also offered condolences to the Georgian government and people.
“Our deepest condolences to the loved ones of the victims of the deadly gas explosion in Tbilisi, Georgia. We wish a speedy recovery to those injured in this tragic event,” the Ministry tweeted.
