Sport Infrastructure Allocated GEL 30 Million

From 2019 to 2020 infrastructural projects are planned worth 30 million GEL, to come from state budget.

The decision was made at a meeting held on May 15 between Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Finance Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze.

The governmental administration says that the decision is in line with the initiative of the Prime Minister, which implies the promotion of a healthy lifestyle in the country.

Emphasis will be placed on sport infrastructure development in Tbilisi. The government estimates that the number of people involved in sports will double over the next 3 years.
