Georgian Rugby Team Defeats Russia, Wins Rugby Europe Championship Cup

The Georgian National Rugby Team 'Borjgalosnebi' played a match against Russia and defeated its rival with a score of 16:7. 

The match took place at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi. 

The Georgian rugby team hosted Russia in the last match of the 2019-2020 Rugby European Championship. This match was supposed to take place in the early spring of last year, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and was held without spectators on February 7. 

After the match, Georgian athletes raised the European Rugby Championship Cup.

The Georgian national team finished the European Rugby Championship with 23 points and a 5/5 victory.
