International Ski Competition Hosted in Gudauri

Over 60 European athletes participated in an International Ski Federation (FIS)-sanctioned ski cross race in Gudauri last weekend.

The famous Canadian Mikayla Martin and French Youri Duplessis Kergomard won victories in the respective women’s and men’s categories.

The weather prevented skiers from perform on Friday but the weekend of competition ended up being a success in term of organization.

This is a very positive sign of Georgi’s ability to host International ski competitions. This only strengthens the elections of Bakuriani as the host of the 2023 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships.
