Four Georgian Wrestlers Leading the World Ratings

United World Wrestling has renewed the world ratings, naming ten best wrestlers in each weight category. The new rating shows four Georgian wrestlers leading different categories: Nugzar Tsurtsumia (55 kg), Lasha Gobadze (82 kg), Beka Lomtadze (61 kg), and Geno Petriashvili (125 kg).

Overall, 10 Georgian wrestlers made it to the top ten lists. Irakli Mtsituri in the 92 kg category, Iakob Kajaia in the 130 kg, Giorgi Melia in the 97 kg, Zurab Iakobashvili in the 70 kg, and Elizbar Odikadze in the 97 kg – are a number in their categories, while Iuri Lomadze was rated ninth in the 72 kg category.
