UEFA Super Cup Sold Out

Football lovers this weekend spent more than 24 hours lined up to secure their seats for August's kick off between Barcelona and Seville at Dynamo Arena.
Tbilisi this month has hosted one massive public event – the Tbilisi Open Air musical festival - which started on July 3 and ended on July 7. And now the city is getting ready to host two more huge events: the European Youth Olympic Festival (July 26 to August 1) and the UEFA Super Cup match between Barcelona and Seville at Dynamo Arena on  August 11.
About 6,000 foreign fans are expected to attend the UEFA match.  After the sole ticketing website biletebi.ge crashed, the tickets were to be sold at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium near Vake Park. Ticket sales began at 9am yesterday in a massive operation organised by the country’s Interior Ministry and Georgian Football Federation. The place was equipped with bio toilets, stands offering bottled water, and first aid teams.
22,089  tickets had been sold by 5:15 am this morning and soon after the Georgian Football Federation announced that there are no tickets left.
