Zaza Pachulia Becomes NBA Champion

Georgian Basketball Player Zaza Pachulia is the first Georgian basketball player ever to become an NBA champion.

The Golden State Warriors, the team Pachulia plays for, won the final game of the 2016/2017 series against the Cleveland Cavaliers with score of 129 : 120. The game was held at the Oracle Arena, in Oakland, California, on Monday June 12. The Golden State Warriors won the champion title in the NBA finals for the second time in the last three years, and for the fifth time in history.

Zaza Pachulia, 33, made his NBA debut in 2003. In the years since his debut, he has played for Orlando, Milwaukee, Atlanta and Dallas before starting at the Golden State Warriors last summer.
